PULP ALLEY - Meet the Villains!

-- Britain Has Fallen --

>> Europe 1940 AD.

Operation Sea Lion was actually carried out and was - against all odds - a huge success for the German Army. World War II has taken a different path leading to the Downfall of Britain and the disappearance of Sir Winston Churchill therefore changing history forever.

But there's more to it than that. It's not all roses in occupied Britain and not everything is lost. Rumors about a man called the "Homburg" spread and indicate that the British Resistance is on the move and about to set something up. Abwehr is more than worried and sends his best agents to investigate. Meet the villains!

>> Oberst Franz Wuerger - The man who led the first Brandenburger coastal raid in preparation of Operation Sea Lion. He owns a dog with the name Jochen, but the MI6 believes it's "Knochen" (Bone) due to reports by surviving soldiers.

>> Siegfried - The Muscle. Strong beyond nature and brutal. Patient of Dr. Faustner.

>> Abwehr agent Murkel - Infiltration expert. Operated behind enemy lines disguised as a nun.

>> Dr. Faustner - The Brain. Scientist and a formidable spy. Quite small, isn't he?

>> The F-800 - A cyborg. Designed by german scientists to seek sheer fear and terror...

... to be continued!

Well, I hope you liked my little discourse about my new Pulp Alley league. The Pulp Alley miniature game tries to capture the fast-paced excitement of classic cliffhanger serials and pulp magazines. It's a lot of fun and the Quick-Start rules are free!

The catalog cards are made with this little and very nice online tool: Catalog Card Generator by I have to admit that Oswald from On Senlac Hill came up with this idea first.

// Update! Reinforcements:

>> The Kreuzfeld Schwestern - A Brandenburger Sabotage team.

Stay tuned for more!

NECROMUNDA - The Juves Aren't Alright

-- Neglected Youth --

Well, YakTribe Competition 14 is coming to an end. What can I say? I'm truly excited about this one, because it's my first challenge since YakTribe Competition 8 and I'm really looking forward to see all the finished stuff. Especially the entries of Scumb4g (great conversion work and paint job) and Xavier Bacon (just awesome)!

Anyways, here is my entry:

> Cole "Rustie" Rust, the Kid <

Maybe a little dark, but I guess House Cawdor ran out of clean shirts... I tried something new with the base. It's made of plastic card and tubes - and spackling paste (of course!).

INQ28 - Needful Things (part 2)

-- The BIG Summer hole --

>> Sommerloch (literally summer hole),
la morte-saison, silly season, the dog days of summer...

Another massive heatwave (again, at least by german standards) is upon the land and I'm further busy with other stuff going on as well. So I had to keep a low profile on the blog. I finished Lamp and Little Helper a while ago to meet the deadline of YakTribe Competition 8 (again won by ClockworkOrange with "The Imperium is a Lie" - well deserved, congratulations by the way!), but didn't want to present them here unless Spider was done too. Now he is.

Lamp and...

Little Helper.

I decided to include them into the retinue of Lady Shireen (along with the Time Bandit I painted for MAMMIM).

The retinue so far.

Stay tuned and thanks for looking!

And coming soon...

... Lady Ty vs. Coenrad Waltz!

NECROMUNDA - No Country for Old Men

-- Thierbach --

No real news because a massive heatwave (at least by german standards) has swept across the land and kept me from doing something hobby related. But I diccovered this place while being on a short run with my family:

It's a demolished Braunkohlekraftwerk - brown coal power station (if my little researches are correct) - which reminded me of Necromunda.

Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
